Package Delivery Signature Waiver

Package Delivery Signature Waiver Form

The image shows a United States Postal Service worker, a woman in a blue uniform, handing a cardboard package to a man at the open front door of his house. The man, wearing a blue polo shirt, is reaching out with both hands to accept the package. The postal worker is smiling as she completes the delivery. The scene is set on a sunny day, with the sun casting a warm glow. In the background, a white USPS mail truck is visible on the street. The house has light-colored siding, and the porch has white pillars and a dark blue door. There are also flowers and green bushes on the lawn near the porch.

Why We Require a Signature (And How to Opt Out)

Look, we get it. Waiting around for a delivery driver or rushing to the door just to sign a piece of paper is a massive hassle. Your time is valuable, and having to plan your day around a package delivery is, frankly, a huge inconvenience. We truly wish we didn’t have to do this.

But here is the harsh reality of the world we live in today: before we put this policy in place, we were flooded with heartbreaking and furious calls from customers whose packages simply vanished from their porches. People were understandably angry, feeling violated and deeply frustrated that items they had eagerly anticipated were being stolen right out from under them. “Porch piracy” and missing shipments became a massive, stressful problem for everyone involved. Since we started requiring a signature, those lost and stolen packages have virtually disappeared. We do this because it is the only foolproof way to ensure the items you paid for actually make it into your hands, saving you the immense headache and anger of dealing with a theft.

That said, if you’d rather take your chances and skip the hassle, you can opt out. Here is how to do it:
